It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Phyllis Marling. Phyllis was a volunteer at Birthright for many years. She had a very full personality and will be greatly missed. Due to some physical limitations, she didn’t answer the phone, but she was always ready and willing to hold a little one while mom looked for clothing or waited on other supplies. Heaven gained a dear soul and we send our deepest condolences to her family.
While this has been a year of rejoicing for our nation, we at Birthright have suffered a terrible loss. One of our volunteers, Kim Maish, who was a former client, passed away after succumbing to cancer. Please keep Kim’s family in your prayers. Kim was very young and leaves behind her husband and three children.
A heart-felt THANK YOU to the Renaissance Club from National Trail School! They changed out the summer clothing for the winter. They also cleaned, swept and vacuumed all the floors. They were a remarkable group of young people.
It is with a heavy heart that we share of the passing of Bob Walsh. Bob was instrumental in starting Birthright of Eaton more than 20 years ago. We are grateful to Bob for his leadership, compassion for the pre-born and their mothers, and resolve to make a difference in his community. You will be greatly missed Mr. Walsh.
